General Information

Mobile Phones & Devices

Out of respect for our presenters and fellow delegates, please ensure your mobile phone and other devices are switched off or set to silent during all conference sessions. If you need to make or take a call, we ask that you please leave the presentation room before doing so and take your call in the foyer or another suitable area.

Geelong Weather – Pack for Spring!

Early September marks the beginning of spring in Geelong, but the weather can still be cool and changeable. Historically, September daytime temperatures in the Geelong area average around 17°C, with cool mornings and the possibility of rain and windy conditions. We recommend packing layers, a warm jacket and an umbrella, particularly if you plan to explore Geelong outside conference hours.

Dietary Requirements

Any dietary requirements advised as part of your registration have been passed on to the venue and catering team. When attending catered breaks and functions, please make yourself known to venue staff, who will be able to assist you in identifying the appropriate meals and catering options. If your dietary requirements have changed since registering, please contact the conference team prior to the event.

Conference Catering

We’ll make sure you’re well fuelled throughout the conference! All scheduled catering each day is included in your registration, including arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. A light breakfast will also be available on Thursday and Friday mornings, so arrive early, grab something to eat and get ready for the day ahead.

Getting Around the Conference

Please allow yourself enough time to move between sessions and arrive before presentations commence. Check the Conference App for session locations and start times throughout the day. Our event team and venue staff will also be available to help if you are unsure where you need to go.

Personal Belongings

Please keep your personal belongings with you and take care of laptops, phones, bags and other valuables throughout the event. Neither the conference organisers nor the venue can take responsibility for lost or unattended belongings.
