Law firm leaders are not short on ambition, they are short on time and focus. This session introduces the Helix 90 Day Leadership Reset, a practical framework designed to reconnect strategy to daily behaviour through clarity of goals, disciplined execution and sustainable energy management. Grounded in real-world implementation, attendees will gain a simple, replicable model that restores strategic focus, strengthens accountability and rewinds leadership to the fundamentals that build strong, future-ready firms. As AI commoditises technical legal work, clients differentiate firms on how it feels to work with them, not just what they know. This workshop maps the moments that matter across the client journey and applies a practical Protect, Elevate, Design, Automate framework to balance human judgement against systemisation. Participants leave with a diagnostic of where their firm creates friction or value, practical quick wins to implement immediately, and a credible case for improving service culture. Law firm leaders are not burning out because they lack resilience. They are burning out because they are carrying work and responsibility that should not be theirs. When accountability is unclear, leaders step in, chase, fix and absorb the pressure. In this practical workshop, Midja Fisher shares a clear accountability framework that strengthens trust, clarifies expectations and resets ownership. Leave with tools to reduce overload, improve follow through and build a sustainable, high performing culture. Director, Senior Occupational Therapist, Behaviour Practitioner, Neurodivergent Coach Legal minds don’t all think alike — and that’s a strength. With 1 in 8 Australians identifying as neurodivergent, every law firm, chambers and legal team already includes neurodivergent professionals. The legal profession prizes exactly the qualities neurodivergent people often excel at: Yet many workplaces still aren’t designed for neurodivergent success. This workshop challenges traditional thinking and explores how neurodiversity could be one of the legal profession’s greatest untapped advantages. 2026 ALPMA Summit + ALTACON | Copyright 2025 - GEMS Event Management Australia. After years of racing toward digital transformation and AI adoption, the legal profession is experiencing transformation fatigue. Firms have invested time and money in technology, but many are discovering that technology alone doesn't solve the fundamental challenges of running sustainable, profitable, people-centered practices. The 2026 ALPMA Summit takes a different approach: we're traveling back to reclaim the wisdom, skills and principles that built great law firms—then using those foundations to power forward with renewed clarity and purpose. This isn't about rejecting innovation. It's about recognising that the most successful firms of tomorrow will be those that pair cutting-edge tools and technology with timeless fundamentals: strategic business thinking, trusted client relationships, effective people management, ethical leadership and the irreplaceable power of human judgment. The disciplines that ensure sustainability and profitability Critical thinking in an AI age and the standards and judgment that define quality Trust and understanding that define great firms and how firms redefine their unique value proposition to clients (The 2026 Summit and ALTACON programs have separate calls for abstracts this year. This information is only for the 2026 Summit program. For information on the ALTACON program and to download that call for abstracts document, please check the right-hand column.) The ALTACON program invites submissions from technology leaders, legal operations professionals, CTOs, CIOs, data experts and vendors who can help law firms build solid technological foundations before racing toward the next innovation. After years of what has felt like continual AI platform launches, we’re now observing firms wanting practical, foundational guidance that helps them get their data, processes and systems ready for sustainable technology adoption. Strong proposals will emphasise getting the fundamentals right before pursuing advanced tools. **It’s time to rewind, recharge and then accelerate with confidence.** While the ALPMA Summit focuses on timeless human capabilities and business fundamentals, the **ALTACON** program focuses on technology and the foundations that are critical to successful and ongoing technology integration. The focus is on rebuilding technological foundations to advance further. Both streams share the same philosophy: you can’t accelerate successfully without strengthening your foundations. Building clean, reliable data infrastructure technology needs Building integrated technology ecosystems that work together (The 2026 Summit and ALTACON programs have separate calls for abstracts this year. You’ll also have the opportunity to get an early start on the Exhibitor Passport—so be sure to come along and make the most of it. **Location:** Mt Duneed Estate, 65 Pettavel Rd, Waurn Ponds Great Scott! — we're going back in time! The ALPMA Summit is rewinding the tape, cranking the volume to eleven, and inviting you to party like it's 1985. Dust off your flux capacitor, tease up your fringe, and prepare for a night so iconic it could only be captured on VHS and rewound immediately. Expect a night that channels the full glory of the decade that brought us power suits, permed hair and the absolute certainty that the power of love could fix absolutely anything. Whether you turn up channelling Dynasty, Dirty Dancing or someone who's clearly just escaped the Upside Down, you'll fit right in. This is not a decade known for its subtlety, and neither is this event. Think big hair, bold colour and the unshakeable confidence of someone who has just aced their Rubik's Cube in under a minute. If Cyndi Lauper and Gordon Gekko had a party, this would be it. Phone home if you need to, feel the need for speed if you must, and dance like someone just cut loose. Whether you arrive as the hero, the villain, or the one who accidently fed something after midnight and caused a scene - you belong here. We can't promise the Terminator will be back but we can promise you won't want the night to end. Who ya gonna call? Your most fabulous outfit! - because you're going to need it. We're not just rewinding — we're recharging. Don't you... forget about it. 2026 ALPMA Summit + ALTACON | Copyright 2025 - GEMS Event Management Australia. All Rights Reserved.
